I have worked as an independent researcher/consultant for the past decade, conducting policy-focused research and writing reports for a number of NGOs, think-tanks and inter-governmental organisations. I have expertise in a range of topics related to international development and good governance, in particular: transparency and accountability, corruption, illicit financial flows, asset recovery, political finance, development aid, and African politics. I have worked with the following organisations: OECD, Global Integrity, Transparency & Accountability Initiative, International Budget Partnership, Publish What You Fund, Center for Global Development (Europe), BBC Media Action, London School of Economics, and Overseas Development Institute. Conducting research for different types of organisations has taught me to write for different audiences. I am very interested in research design and I have practical experience with using various quantitative and qualitative research methods, including regression analysis, survey analysis, text analysis, and focused and semi-structured interviews, project evaluation and policy assessment. I can efficiently handle large amounts of literature and data. I’m proficient in MS (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Stata and SPSS. Finally, I can work in English, Swedish, French and Spanish.
