ESP8266 Programming

Hi, I have experience for 15+ years in electronics/embedded development. I have developed several projects with ESP8266, in the 3 toolchains that I know of to date: native expressif toolchain (barebones GCC family C/C++), Arduino IDE for ESP8266 and NodeMCU Lua interpreter implementation. Quite experienced in using the Arduino IDE for ESP8266, some experience with native expressif toolchain (basic LED blink and serial commands example programs - AT interface included) and almost no experience in NodeMCU - only basic testing. I would prefer implementing your project in the Arduino IDE for ESP8266 (native compilation for ESP8266, not with an extra arduino board connected to the ESP!) as this is what I have more experience at, but could also do it in LUA (NodeMCU) if you require it. I have several ESP8266-based boards and also PIR sensors, you don't need to send me any material. I would need to know what do you mean by "upload data on web server" as this can be a lot of different things..... I have implemented MQTT, Microsoft Azure Mobile Services and EventHub, simple POST's to http servers, etc. but need to know what is your particular implementation. Use arduino board for managing your ESP8266 as the shield. So then you could integrate with Wifi or Ethernet shield for throwing the sensor data to web server or another external resources.
